Tate's Halloween Birthday Party

It's been so long since Big Guy has posted to his blog that he had a hard time finding any pictures that would tell the story of Tate's first birthday party.

But then he remembered that JJ's fellow bloggers don't pay attention to the subject of her pictures but instead they search the background to see if she's made the bed, washed the clothes, done the dishes, etc. So maybe they will find these pictures interesting! (click on picture to enlarge)

The guests start arriving!

Angie wondering who came in the ultra-liberal costume?

The kids seemed to enjoy the Halloween story

Except for one guest who was not as impressed with the story.
(I think he may have had scarier things in mind).

Sisters!

Tate (and friend) are not too sure about Brooke the witch.

No party would be complete without the guest of honor!

The invitation said nothing about bringing your pet.
(Some people are just plain dumb)

Nobody leaves until I find out who brought the kid in overalls?

Link to more pictures from party.

I know the candidates are after the youth vote, but going to a 1 year old birthday party is really taking it to extremes! And I think Palin is actually wondering why Brooke is wearing HER hat and also contemplating how many more she can buy with her RNC clothing allowance....

Also, should i be concerned that Tate appears to be looking in adoration at his hero, Chucky?!?!

I am so sorry to have missed the party. It looked off the hook. Did it have juice? (Arrested Development reference--sorry). Margaret would have made the conservatives blush in her Chaquita banana outfit...although I bet Palin sports a midriff on the warm days. Tate looked precious...glad to see that he opened his party to both parties.
