To bring you up to date from prior episodes, Claire (Jenny) and Sawyer (Rob) are "lost" on the mysterious Island (Hawaii) due to a very demanding “work” assignment.
Tate was rather unhappy to learn he would be staying at Mia and BG's place while his parents “slaved” away on the island.
His first few days were spent making desperate attempts to contact his parents.
(Mia and BG later discovered several voice mail messages on their cell phones as result of his having hit the recall button. No telling who else he called)
Luckily another member of the Oceanic 6 (Nan) arrived to help entertain him.
Here he is seen coming out of his tunnel to welcome Nan to his lair.
The other end of the tunnel was the "hatch" where he was joined by Nan and Eddie
After a while, life off the island became a daily routine of:
Eating
Bathing
And combing the hair
But Tate did take his turn standing guard to protect the family from the "Others":
He waited patiently in case the evil Horatio made an appearance. Big Guy crafted a weapon (a wrapping paper tube) for just such an event.
In preparation for his parent's eventual return, Big Guy worked with Tate on a greeting for them when they got off the airplane. (You may need to turn the sound up on the video below to hear how well he learned).
Unfortunately he ended up resorting to "Da Da"!
Which brings this episode to an end with the reunion.

LOL. Why the heck do I have to be just NAN? I want to be KATE!!!
BG was thinking about casting Nan as Jin but that would be too confusing with the real Jen. Plus Jin already has a baby which would make the picture a flashback! (Lost is already frying BG's brain without any added confusion)
The Hurley character is available but BG is kind of picturing Todd in that role. :)
Maybe BG will add another poll to his blog for picking Todd and Brooke's characters??
Brooke is definitely Ana Lucia. Todd is that Dentist with the wife named Rose.
Mia just corrected me. Nan could be Sun. Jin is her husband (hate it when that happens!).
Great choice for Brooke!
And when the dentist (Bernard) was trying to start a fire with two sticks in this week's episode, it did remind me of how I envision Todd on his many camping trips! Speaking of which, it was great when the guy that was griping about there not being any fire got it in the chest with a flaming arrow. I was pulling for the Hostiles at that point!
I liked the idea of Nancy being Jin...speaking all Korean and nobody understanding her and her not understanding anyone else...I was in my happy place imagining that.
Is Ana Lucia a great choice for Brooke as a character on Lost or as herself in real life??? I think real life Ana Lucia makes sense...
I am happy in my world where I act like I don't understand a thing you are saying. It makes you all MUCH more interesting!

Ok Sarah, you're in! But you will have to survive the crash like we did.. Oops! I knew I could not keep that secret forever.
Or you can be Charlotte (the anthropologist)who wasn't on the plane if you don't mind the occasional nose bleed?
Sarah, you may not want to be adopted...of anyone in the blogging world, I"m probably the closest thing to an adopted Dodson/Post and I'm telling you, it ain't all funny and roses...let me show you:
1. child abuse hour
2. taking my clothes for their own
3. teaching me to throw hymnals off the 2nd story of the church
4. bowling
5. playing softball with Brooke
6. church camp
and the list could go on and on Sarah...I warned you...you don't know what you are getting into...just like those survivors of the Oceanic flight...it may look like a tropical island, but it has hydrogen bombs dude...AND nose bleeds:)
Sounds like somebody (and by somebody I mean ANGIE) is sore that they didn't get the Ana Lucia role.
yeah, no, Brooke is DEFINITELY Ana Lucia...I would rather be Kate or Juliet...they have some serious guns and by guns I mean arms
